Blessing of our little girl

Well, blogger has not been working for me lately, for some reason, thus my lack of posts, but it seems to be working today, so we'll see! Anyway, two and a half weeks ago, our little angel was blessed! And I am very proud to say I made her little blessing dress! Justin did an amazing job and I am so thankful to have a husband who honors his priesthood! My dad was in town and was also able to stand in the circle, which was very special!

Isn't she just gorgeous in her little dress?

For the past week I've been having serious problems viewing peoples blogs on my computer. It keeps telling me there's a network error and I can never leave comments on anybody''s blogs. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me, 'cuz it's seriously really LAME and did I mention irritating?!

Father's Day

Father's Day was an awesome day for us! We started out making Justin Juevos Rancheros...did I spell that right? Who knows...but it was tasty, for him anyway. I can't eat anything spicy or containing onions as requested by Kelsie's belly, so he was the sole consumer of the meal! Then, we had to go off to church...one of the little girls in the nursery we teach told me, "My Daddy is the tallest boy with brown eyes I ever seen." how cute is that? Anyway, after church we headed over to my parents for some good 'ol celebrating with yummy rib dinner! My mom makes awesome ribs, I gotta learn!
We opened gifts afterward and I am pretty proud of what we made for Justin! I found a new use for my vinyl lettering. Making shirts! I used the outside as a stencil and painted it...turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself!

And in this poast I'm going to include something because I think it's hilarious...Have you noticed something special that goes on between grandmas and their grandkids? Well, I have and especially I think it's funny that no matter how many people are itching for some time holding the new babies, Grandmas always find their way to snatch them up. This espacially holds true for my mom, which we lovingly tease her about. My mom finds ANY excuse to hold Kelsie and has said things like, "She's reaching for me." Or "See the way she's looking at me? She wants me to hold her." Keep in mind she is dead serious and I'm sure is thinking, "What, she really WAS doing those things." as she's reading this post! I love you mom, and your baby crazy self!
This is a picture of Kelsie recently abducted from Grandpa's arms...sidenote: She was staring at my mom, just begging Grandma to hold her!

Saturday

This past Saturday, two exciting events happened. The first I will mention happened in the morning...Kelsie's nasty umbilical cord FINALLY fell off!!! I was so excited because it took 4 long weeks! Carter I'm sure was happy too after weeks of asking why her belly button looked like "that." So, here's a picture of her beautiful new belly button!
Next order of business, it my little brother, Robert's birthday. He turned 13!!! Crazy to think he's a teenager now. We had fun at his party and what a good uncle he is. Even with all his friends and stuff around, he took the time to make sure the little kids felt special too. What a nice guy! As you can see in the pictures, his birthday wish was to make himself an insanely huge sub sandwich, for which my mother provided him with an entire french loaf to fill! Look at that beast...he only ate about 1/4 of it, for those of you wondering...that was pretty weak, Robert! Ha ha...just kidding, that thing was huge! Guess all the turkey made him sleepy. 'cuz he fell asleep shortly after dinner.

Catching up...

I swear I'm always "catching up" on here...can't I just be current, PLEASE?! So, I've decided I'm going to stop trying to catch up and just quickly give a recap of our week and a half-ish since my last post and call it good so I'll be current. (Even though it will probably still bug me the stuff I skipped, but, hey, what am I gonna do?) We went to Lied Discovery Children's Museum on Wednesday. Thank you, mom...the trip would not have been as much fun without your help with Carter! And Thank you to my awesome sister-in-law Danielle for getting Carter in for free =)
Carter told me before his nap today, "Mommy, go change Kelsie's diaper first betuz no me want ANY poop in my room."

Carter got his first ice cream from the ice cream truck! Can you tell he's super excited?!

We went to Robert's baseball game...which was really fun, but unfortuneately resulted in Kelsie getting a clogged tear duct! poor girl!
Carter realized sharing with his sister was much easier than he thought (He really always just sets something on top of her so he's sharing while he plays!)
We gave Kelsie her first bath...Carter was ready to help and Justin enjoyed his favorite thing about having a newborn...taking naps on the couch with them =)
We went to the park...and then had to leave early because there was no bathroom.
These events are kinda mixed up because my dumb computer won't let me highlight stuff and move it right now...pretty lame! But, there's our past week and a half in a nutshell! Hope yours was equally awesome!

I can't wait

Thanks to my cousin, Amber, I realized yesterday there was a trailer out for New Moon! I get so excited watching it...can't wait for November!

Thought I'd do some more catching up while I'm locked out of the bathroom so Carter can do his business =) He doesn't need ANYONE to help him, but still likes to have conversations with me through the door...ha ha. Anyway, the days before Kelsie was born, we went out to eat at Fuddrucker's, which is super delicious!!! It was worth the drive (about 30 minutes away). The yummiest cheeseburgers! I highly recommend everyone to find one and eat there =)
Our little cheeseball

Then, the next day, we went to the rec center pool with everyone that was here on the Wagasky side. I didn't actually swim because I was 3 cm dilated and didn't want to swim in a public pool, but I waded in the water while everyone else swam. Carter was very brave in the water and went under once...he's been experimenting with this in the tub. So, we had to keep a watch on him, but he had a great time with his cousins!

Our official last belly bump picture together!

Love this man!!!

Carter and Makenze attacking Justin in the water

I had to post this picture because it was hilarious...this random kid kept climbing all over Jason and he was like humping his back...where was the kids mom? Nobody knows...but it was quite funny.
