My favorite little people

Our little princess is 8 months old now! We just can't believe how big she's getting! She loves yelling, climbing over things, and trying to keep up with her brother! She is such a cute and funny baby. She started pulling to stand and trying to climb on the couch just before the 8 month mark and loves man-handling all our push around toys. She doesn't quite have the walking motion down yet, but she does push things around and slowly walks with them. She also plays peek-a-boo and will put her arms in the air when you say, "Ta Da!" She also does this thing with her face where she scrunches her face and breathes really fast in and out of her nose. It is pretty funny and we just love it!
Here is my little helper, Mr. Carter Super-Sonic-Bad-Guy-Blaster! (Yes, he still calls himself this). He loves helping with dishes, scrubbing toilets, making sure Kelsie doesn't have anything she's not supposed to, and trying to make us laugh! The other day he made me some "soup" in his kitchen and after I "tried" a bite, he said, "You know what it has in it? Boogers and toilet water." He seriously is hilarious. He talks like such an adult all the time too and his new phrase is, "Sure is!" He cracks me up and just flat brightens my days =)

Preschool Activities and more...

This past week or two, it's been raining like crazy here, which is pretty unusual. So, I wanted to do an activity with Carter for his preschool stuff we do. So, we started with 3 different jars for our science experiment and put a different color of food coloring in each jar.

Then, we geared up and proceeded outside. We put one jar under where our roof was dripping down, one on the sidewalk where it was open for rainfall, and one under the tree to see which color would fill up the fastest. Our green jar under the roof filled up the fastest and the one under the tree only got a few droplets in it. He said he felt like Sid the Science Kid! (Love that show!) So, we concluded if one didn't want to get wet in the rain, it would be wise to seek shelter under a tree!
And then of course there had to be some splashing in the puddles and racing leaves in the gutter! Luckily Daddy got home to finish chasing the leaves down the street so I could go make us some hot soup inside!

January Birthdays

These are actually in reverse order, but, hey, that's the way it uploaded and I'm not gonna change it :) We had 4 fabulous birthdays in the month of January! Mom Wagasky's first, then mine, Makenze's and then Libby's! What a month of celebrations and family get-togethers!

Libby had a fun tea party where we were to dress "fancy" so Carter dressed fancy, but then changed into a GI Joe costume once we got there! Kelsie wore her cute tu-tu that my wonderful friend, Whitney, made her! I love her little diapered butt crawling around in the tu-tu...cutest thing ever, seriously!

The birthday girl showing off her fancy gear, and the brother-of-honor to the right =)

Makenze, at her birthday bash, which was at McDonald's! Smartest idea ever, Andrea for zero cost and clean-up! The kids had a blast playing in the inside gym!

My mom and Kelsie at Makenze's party...just look at those adorable pigtails. She just melts my heart!

Carter and Grandma Gill...can't separate these two for very long!

On my birthday, we went out to lunch to Sweet Tomatoes with the girls! It was so fun!

My good friend, Rashelle, and Danielle
Me and my mom and sister...love those guys to pieces!

This was my birthday night. My mom watched the kiddos while Justin took me to Viva Zappata's! Best food ever! I got this Jumbo Mexican shrimp that was stuffed with more shrimp and cheese, which was then wrapped in bacon and fried. And then this amazing sauce to dip it in. DELICIOUS!
This was Mom Wagasky's birthday! She had all her grandkids (that live on this side of the country) there!
